ves•tige /ˈvestij/ noun a trace of something that is disappearing or no longer exists. • [usu. with negative] used to emphasize the absence of something. • Biology a part or organ of an organism that has become reduced or functionless in the course of evolution. I started this piece as an acrylic-oil painting and brought it to the pixel world with the intent to experiment on the textures, but ended up taking it to a state that seemed finalized. There are actually 2 canvas siting side by side on my easel, sharing the same colors and subject. The second one will remain a physical painting. www.pierrebourgeault.com |
